Deepawali is the most important Hindu holiday in India.

Deepawali is observed on the Deepawali day, which falls in the Kartik month.

Deepawali commemorates Lord Sri Rama’s 14-year exile prior to his return to Ayodhya.

In celebration of his return, the Ayodhya people had joyfully illuminated the entire Ayodhya city with ghee lamps.

On Diwali, people worship Mata Lakshmi ji and Ganesh ji in their homes.

People decorate their homes with candles and electric lights on Diwali and give sweets to their relatives.

Deepawali is celebrated by lighting a lamp on the dark night of Amavas, and it symbolizes the victory of good over evil.

Dhanteras is the day before Deepawali, and people buy a lot of gold and silver on that day.

On Diwali, bombs, firecrackers, and other fireworks will burn.

Fireworks pollute the environment and should not be used by children on Diwali.

The Deepawali festival is a happy time. On this day, all Hindus share happiness with their relatives, friends, and others to commemorate the Deepawali festival.

Deepawali is celebrated on Amavasya night, and lighting a lamp is considered auspicious in order to light the dark night of Amavasya.

After Diwali, Govardhan is worshipped, and Bhaiya Dooj follows the next day.
