Answer the following questions in brief.

Why was Swami reluctant to go to school?

Swami was reluctant to go to school because he did not want to attend his classes that day. He wished for an earthquake to destroy the school and even feigned a headache to avoid going to school. He complained about the unimportant and repetitive lessons taught by his geography teacher and dreaded the arithmetic class, where he was likely to be punished with a beating. Swami’s reluctance to go to school was due to his dislike of his teachers and his lack of interest in his studies.

How did Swami try to mislead his father?

Swami tried to mislead his father by telling him that he was not feeling well and that he had a headache. He also tried to convince his father that he was not fit to go to school and needed to rest. Swami’s father, being a doctor, tried to examine him and suggested that he take some medicine. However, Swami continued to act as if he was in pain, hoping that his father would allow him to stay at home. Swami even tried to use some tricks to deceive his father, such as pressing his forehead with his palm and making a face as if he was in agony. However, Swami’s father was not easily fooled and eventually, Swami had to give in and go to school.

Give instances to prove that Swami’s father was an angry man.
