(3) Write in brief about the consequences of ‘Cold War’.

The consequences of the Cold War included tension and competition between the United States and the Soviet Union, the formation of military blocs like NATO and the Warsaw Pact, arms race, proxy wars, and global political instability.

 

(4) Explain in brief the disintegration and unification of Germany.

The disintegration and unification of Germany occurred after World War II, where Germany was divided into East and West Germany. The Berlin Wall, separating the two parts, was later demolished in 1990, leading to the reunification of Germany.

 

(5) Discuss in brief the relation between India and Russia.

India and Russia have a close and friendly relationship. Russia has supported India in various international forums and conflicts, including the Kashmir issue. India values its partnership with Russia in areas like defense, trade, and energy.

 

(6) Write short on ‘Military Blocs’, ‘NATO’, SEATO’,’WARSAW PACT’.

Military blocs like NATO, SEATO, and the Warsaw Pact were formed during the Cold War to counter potential threats from opposing ideologies and alliances. NATO was led by the United States and its allies, SEATO aimed at protecting Southeast Asia from communism, and the Warsaw Pact was formed by Soviet Union and its satellite states.
