Problem 1: Emily is making friendship bracelets. She wants to create sets with 4, 6, and 8 bracelets each. What is the smallest number of bracelets she needs to make to have an equal number of each kind in each set?

Problem 2: Sam is arranging books on shelves. He wants to put 10 books on one shelf, 15 books on another, and 20 books on a third shelf. What is the smallest number of books he needs to have to fill all the shelves equally?

Problem 3: Sarah, Alex, and Ryan are sharing their stickers. Sarah has 12 stickers, Alex has 18, and Ryan has 24. They want to divide the stickers evenly among themselves. What is the smallest number of stickers they need to have in order to share them equally?

Problem 4: A bakery is packaging cookies into boxes. They want to put 6 cookies in one box, 8 cookies in another, and 12 cookies in a third box. What is the smallest number of cookies they need to have to fill all the boxes equally?

Problem 5: Rachel is planning a picnic and wants to buy packs of apples, oranges, and bananas. Apples come in packs of 5, oranges in packs of 10, and bananas in packs of 15. What is the smallest number of fruits she needs to buy to have an equal number of each fruit type?

Answers

Problem 1: The LCM of 4, 6, and 8 is 24. Emily needs to make 24 bracelets to have an equal number of each kind in each set.

Problem 2: The LCM of 10, 15, and 20 is 30. Sam needs to have 30 books to fill all the shelves equally.

Problem 3: The LCM of 12, 18, and 24 is 72. Sarah, Alex, and Ryan need to have 72 stickers to share them equally.

Problem 4: The LCM of 6, 8, and 12 is 24. The bakery needs to have 24 cookies to fill all the boxes equally.
