What did the villagers do when the Sarpanch did not give the correct information?

The villagers went to the Panchayat and asked for information about their work and wages. When the Sarpanch refused to provide the details, they sought help from higher authorities like the Janpad Panchayat and Chief Executive Officer.

 

If Sarpanch had not agreed then what would have been done?

If the Sarpanch didn’t agree, the villagers could have continued using the Right to Information Act. The higher authorities, like the Chief Executive Officer, might have taken action against the Sarpanch for not sharing the necessary information.
