Summary

A person loves looking at things that shine and sparkle! What shiny things do they love?
The moon and stars in the sky
The bright sun
Pretty rainbows
Bee wings that sparkle
Butterflies
Their cat’s green eyes that shine
Street lights at night
Candles glowing in the dark
Shiny beads they wear
Their coat when it’s bright

The person who wrote it thinks shiny things are really pretty and make them happy. They believe God made all these beautiful, sparkly things for us to enjoy.

We should look around and notice pretty things that shine! There are lots of beautiful things everywhere if we just pay attention – in the sky, in nature, and even things we wear.

The poem teaches us to notice and enjoy the bright, beautiful moments in our world.
