The path going up the hill was steep and difficult. People were walking very slowly. Menka was a brave girl who carried her brother on her back and journeyed the path steadily. She walked carefully, joyfully, and strongly all through her journey. At last she reached the holy place on the hill top. A man in the group felt sorry for Menka. He asked her, “My child, why are you carrying this boy on your back?” Menka replied strongly, “He is my brother!”
