Our constitution can be described as unique and it is the longest written constitution in the world. The main features of the constitution are:
- Democracy – The definition of democracy is the rule of the people, by the people, and for the people. One of the most important aspects of democracy is independence.
- Secularism – According to secularism, the country is not governed on the basis of the ideology or beliefs of any sect or religion. There is no discrimination based on race or community.
- Republic – It means that the country is governed by its own people, either directly or indirectly

The two fundamental rights are: –
- Right to equality – No citizen should be discriminated against because of their religion, gender, caste or color, and all citizens should have access to the same opportunities.
- Right to freedom – It is the right of every citizen of India to express their ideas, travel and reside anywhere in the country, and pursue their livelihood wherever they choose.

Four fundamental duties are listed below:
- The national flag and national anthem must be respected as well as the constitution and its ideals.
