Medical Courses

  1. Age: The candidate must be at least 17 years of age at the time of admission.
  2. Educational Qualification: The candidate must have completed their 10+2 education from a recognized board or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects. The minimum percentage required may vary between 50-60% for different colleges and courses.
  3. Entrance Exam: Most medical colleges require the candidate to qualify in a national or state-level entrance exam such as NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) or AIIMS entrance exam.
  4. Medical Fitness: The candidate must be medically fit to pursue the course.
  5. Citizenship: For government colleges, the candidate must be an Indian citizen. However, for some private colleges, NRI and foreign nationals may also be eligible.
