Quick Reminder:
Common Noun: General name (boy, city, river)
Proper Noun: Special name (Rohit, Delhi, Ganga)
Proper nouns always start with a capital letter.

Section A: Find and Write

Read each sentence. Write one common noun and one proper noun from the sentence.
1. Riya went to school on Monday.
2. The dog followed Aman to the park.
3. We live in India and love our country.
4. My brother studies in Ryan School.
5. The river Ganga flows through many cities.

Section B: Rewrite the Sentences

Rewrite the sentences by correcting the nouns. Use capital letters where needed.
1. my friend rahul lives in delhi.
2. we celebrated diwali in october.
3. the yamuna is a long river.
4. i study in dav school.
5. sunday is a holiday.

Section C: Circle and Label

Circle the noun and write CN for Common Noun or PN for Proper Noun.
1. The children are playing in the garden.
2. Sita reads a book every night.
3. Mumbai is a big city.
4. The teacher told a story.
5. We visited the Red Fort.

Section D: Change the Nouns

Change the common noun into a proper noun and rewrite the sentence.

Answer in one sentence.
