- Total candies = 23+17 = 40

Solution:-
- Yellow Balloons = 15
- Green balloons = 9
- Total balloons = 24
After spending Rs. 260, Shanaya had Rs. 300 left. How much did she have at first?
Solution:-
- Money spend = 260
- Left money = 300
- Total money = 300+260= 560
Nitu collected 88 stamps. She gave 50 stamps to Priyanka. How many stamps are remaining with Nitu?
Solution:-
- Nitu stamps = 88
- Stamps given to priyanka = 50
- Remaining stamps = 88-50= 38
I am a 2-digit number. The sum of my 2 digits is 9. Their difference is 3. The larger digit is in the tens place. Who am I?
Solution:-
- The two digit number is 63
- sum of the digits in 63, is 6 + 3 = 9.
- The difference of the digits in 63 is 6 – 3 =3.
- The larger digit is in the tens place is 6.
If we add 8 tens, 4 hundreds and 2 ones, then what is the result?
Solution :
- 4 hundreds + 8 tens + 2 ones = 400 + 80 + 2 = 482
What is the difference of 6 tens and 4 ones ?
Solution :
- 6 tens = 60
- 60 – 4 = 56
