Formation of the legislative assembly.
Legislative assembly is the lower house of legislation. Members are elected every five years. A member of the legislative assembly is called legislator or MLA.MLA are elected by the people through direct elections. Different political parties field their representatives as their party candidates in assembly elections. The party having a majority in the legislative assembly forms its own government.
