  • The earth would not face the sun alternately if it did not rotate on its axis. Therefore, night and day wouldn’t be possible. On the places facing the sun, it would always be Day. On the places facing the opposite direction, it would always be Night.

 

  • What do you mean by latitude and longitude?
  • Latitudes are the horizontal imaginary lines drawn on the globe while Longitudes are vertical imaginary lines drawn on the globe.

 

  • Sometimes there are 29 days in the month of February explain the statement or which year is called leap year?
  • There are 365 days and 6 hours in a year, and 6 hours constitute one fourth of a day. In February, the remaining six hours of every four years are adjusted by adding one day more, making this 29 day instead of 28 days.

  • Mercury Venus Earth and Mars are inner planets.
