How do you classify plants?

 

Plants can be classified into 5 groups:-

Herbs are plants with green, tender stems. They are usually short and do not have a lot of branches.

Some plants develop branches near the base of the stem. The stem is hard but

not very thick. Such plants are called shrubs

Some plants grow to be very tall, with hard and thick stems. The stems have branches in the upper part, which is much higher than the ground are called Trees.

Plants with weak stems that cannot stand upright but spread on the ground are called creepers, whereas climbers take to support and climb up.
