Can you think of creating a shape that would give a circular shadow if held in one way and a rectangular shadow if held in another way?
Ans :- If light is incident from its top or bottom, a cylinder can produce a circular shadow. If light is incident from its side, a cylinder will produce a rectangular shadow.

 

In a completely dark room, if you hold up a mirror in front of you, will you see a reflection of yourself in the mirror?
Ans – Since there is no source of light in the room, we won’t be able to see our reflection in the mirror.

What is a pinhole camera ? how light travels through it.

Pinhole cameras are inexpensive and easy to construct. Light travels in a straight line. In comparison to the original object, the image formed by a pinhole camera is real, inverted, and shrunk.

 

 

What is luminous objects?

“Luminous objects” emit light on their own, allowing us to see things around us. Examples of luminous objects include lamps, candles, glowing bulbs, bonfires, and torches.
