Why is our country the country of diversity?

Diversity can be seen in our country through color complexion attire, religion, language, food customs and traditions etc. As a result of geographical factors such as climate, landscape, and forest, India is a diverse country.

What is national Unity? 

People love and honor their country with a feeling of sacrifice and cooperation for their country regardless of their religion, language, or caste. It is called National Unity.

Explain in short:

Unity and Diversity is seen among people .

In India, many people practice many different religions, speak many languages, and celebrate many different festivals. They also wear different colors, have different complexions, and dress differently. In spite of all these differences, they share a sense of sacrifice and co-operation for their nation.

Efforts for diversity and equality.

Different types of diversity exist in our country, and discrimination occurs as a result of these differences. There is discrimination against rich and poor, literate and illiterate, urban and rural, and caste in our country. In ancient times, social structures were occupation based, leading many groups to be backward economically and socially. These differences gave rise to caste systems. 

Efforts for equality-

Equal opportunities have been provided to all citizens.

Every child between the ages of 6 and 14 receives free and compulsory education

The government has improved education and infrastructure facilities such as village roads, primary health centers, electricity, etc.

In our constitution, after independence, untouchability is removed .
