[Q] Education and traditional beliefs in India.

  • According to the Indian constitution, every child between the ages of 6 and 14 years of a country has the right to free and compulsory education. However, due to traditional beliefs, girls were not allowed to complete primary education.
  • Instead of sending their daughters out of town for studies or employment, parents prefer that their daughters work in their hometowns.
  • Girls do not have the power to grow in education because of evil norms such as child marriages.
