What is Natural Fiber?

Cotton, jute, silk, and wool are all obtained from plants and animals. These are known as natural fibers.

 

What is synthetic fiber?

Fibers that are not derived from plants or animals. These are known as synthetic fibers. Polyester, nylon, and acrylic are examples of synthetic fibers.

 

What are the uses of cotton wool?

Cotton wool is also used to stuff mattresses, bedding, and pillows.

 

What is Ginning ?

Ginning is the process in which the cotton is separated from cotton seeds.

 

At which place the jute is mainly grown in India?

Jute is primarily grown in West Bengal, Bihar, and Assam in India.

 

What is weaving ?

Weaving is the process of combining two sets of yarns to create a fabric.
