homework finishing time is 1.20 PM , if the watch is 15 min fast that means the correct time of finishing homework is 1.05 p.m. He has taken 1.45 min to complete the homework ,we have to subtract 1.45 min from 1.05 p.m.

What we have to do is convert the time in 24 hour format means 1.05 p.m. means its 13.05 p.m. in 24 hour format ,now we have to subtract  1.45 from 13.05

7. An orange and a pear have a total weight of 490 grams. The pear has a weight of 260 grams. How much lighter is the orange than the pear?

(A) 30 grams

(B) 90 grams

(C) 230 grams

(D) 150 grams

Explanation:-

total weight is 490 grams ,if pear has weight of 260 grams means orange weight is 490-260 = 230. So orange weight is 230 grams which is 3o grams less then pears. , so the correct answer is A

8. Shanaya puts 154 marbles into each of her 20 boxes. She has 28 marbles left. How many marbles does she have altogether?

A. 3052

B. 3108

C. 3080

D. 3256

Explanation:- 

If Shanaya put 154 marbles in each box ,then 20 box has 154 * 20 = 3080  marbles in all boxes . 28 marbles outside the box ,so  3080 + 28 = 3108 total marbles with Shanaya .

Therefore Shanaya has 3108 marbles altogether.

9. 6 pens and 3 pencils cost ` 42. If a pencil cost ` 2, then how much does a pen Cost?

A. Rs. 6

B. Rs. 7

C. Rs. 4

D. Rs. 8

Explanation:-

6 pen and 3 pencils cost rs. 42.

Pencil cost Rs. 2 means  3 * 2 = 6 , so 42-6 = 36

Therefore all pens price is rs. 36 and there are 6 pens means 1 pen price is 36/6 = 6.

Therefore the correct option is A

10. On 1st December, there were 1275 tourists in Kerala. On 2nd December, 983 more tourists came in, and 1163 left for Goa. Calculate the total tourists  were there in Kerala on 2nd December?

B. 2258

Explanation:-

1st December  =  1275 tourists

2nd December =  983 tourists came in

Total Tourist on 2nd is   =  2258

Tourist left for GOA  on 2nd is 1163 so , 2258-1163 = 1095 ,so total 1095 tourist present in 2nd December.

Therefore  correct option is D

11. A man buys 45 bananas for his Chimpanzee every day. How many bananas does he buy in the month of September?

A. 1285

B. 1350

Explanation:-

Man buys 45 bananas per day . September month has 30 days . so 45 * 30 = 1350 .

Therefore the man buys 1350 bananas in September month.
